Every year our friend Terry prepares a great Superbowl party at her house. She makes it very special for everyone. I decided to bake a football themed cake which consists of chocolate brownies and walnuts shaped as a stadium. It was a lot of work toasting the walnuts and doing the brownies at first, then doing the cake and incorporating all of it together as I do it from scratch, but it was really a unique experience! I loved this cake, it was delicious! Here is the result: The following was also included... Superbowl themed vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream; chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream; milk-free, peanut-free, ginger cupcakes with lemon buttercream (for the kids with food allergies); German chocolate minicupcakes covered with chocolate ganache and topped with raspberries; and vanilla minicupcakes covered with white chocolate ganache and topped with strawberries. It was fun creating sweet treats for a Superbowl party! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
